Surf Expo Africa 2025 was held from 28 – 30 November 2025 at CTICC 2 in Cape Town, marking the first international ocean sports and beach lifestyle trade and consumer show of its kind on the African continent.
The three-day event brought together a vibrant mix of exhibitors, including some international exhibitors, and over 2,000 attendees drawn from local, national, continental, and international audiences.
Designed as a dynamic platform for networking, business growth, and industry exposure, the expo showcased the latest products and innovations across surf, paddle, swim, dive, wind, travel, and leisure lifestyle sectors. Attendees experienced a packed programme of speakers, seminars, live demonstrations, fashion shows, and networking activities, providing valuable opportunities for knowledge exchange, trade engagement, and brand visibility.
Participants included manufacturers, retailers, business buyers, NPOs, and ocean culture advocates, all united by a shared passion for the ocean and sustainable industry development. Exhibitors and visitors praised the high quality of organisation, the engaging atmosphere, and the commercial and community-building opportunities the event generated. Highlights such as the Surfboard Shaping Bay, expert talks, and inclusive creative activations contributed to the expo’s energetic and memorable experience.
